Assessment Stage:
- Contact and Consultation: You'll reach out to a us here at 989-614-0163. We will visit your property to assess the situation.
- Site Evaluation: We will examine your property's soil composition, available space, and existing septic system.
- Percolation Test: We may conduct a percolation test to determine how well your soil absorbs liquid. This helps determine the size of the drain field needed.
- Design and Permits: Based on the evaluation, the our team will create a design plan for the drain field and obtain any necessary permits from local authorities.
Installation/Restoration Stage:
- Excavation: Once the plan is approved, the we will excavate trenches or beds in the designated area to lay the drain field components.
- Pipe/Chamber Installation: Perforated pipes or chambers will be placed within the trenches to distribute the effluent (treated wastewater) from your septic tank.
- Gravel and Cover Material: Gravel is strategically placed around and above the pipes to aid drainage and prevent clogging. Finally, the trenches are filled with soil and the area is restored.
- Testing: Upon completion, the we will perform a final inspection and testing to ensure the drain field functions properly.
Additional Notes:
- In some cases, drain field restoration might be an option instead of a complete replacement. This depends on the extent of the damage to your existing drain field.
